Martha Laughman is the founder of Gold Star Gamers, a nonprofit dedicated to helping children who have lost a military parent find hope, healing, and community through gaming and mentorship. Inspired by her own experience as a former military spouse to a Delta Force operator and as the mother of military surviving children, Martha built Gold Star Gamers to create meaningful connection, structured mentorship programs, and safe virtual spaces that support children navigating grief. Based in Seattle, she leads the organization with a mission to turn loss into belonging and long-term resilience.
