Jaymes Black (they/she/he pronouns) is the CEO at The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ+ young people. He oversees the organization’s 24/7 crisis services, research, education, advocacy, and peer support programs. They are The Trevor Project’s first Black nonbinary lesbian CEO.Black is an accomplished, empathetic senior leader with more than 20 years of experience managing high performing teams at scale. Their expertise blends nonprofit and corporate competencies, spanning business and community leadership, LGBTQ+ advocacy and coalition building, fundraising strategy and innovation, large budget oversight and financial acumen, call center operations and user experience, and more.
