Dulce Valencia is a multi-disciplinary storyteller from Guerrero, Mexico, who began her career as an advocate for immigrant rights. Her story has been featured in Lifetime’s Her America, Apple TV +’s Dear…, and the NAACP Image Award-nominated short film We Are Here. She is passionate about creating meaningful stories that show a complete and nuanced portrait of immigrants and currently leads Define American’s work in Hollywood, consulting and working with creatives across industries to tell authentic immigrant stories in an effort to change the way immigrants are perceived. She is based in Los Angeles.
